'Indo-American Festival of Performing Arts - Sarovar 2013!
Sarovar 2013 will be a month long music fest in venues all
over SE Michigan!
The celebration will include several concerts and dances
featuring the Priya Sisters, Mandolin U Srinivas, Sikkil Gurucharan and
more...
GLAC is partnering with Lawrence Tech, Oakland University
and Washtenaw Community College to present the
'Indo-American Festival of Performing Arts - Sarovar 2013'. This is a
one of a kind music festival held at several venues in SE Michigan including
Oakland University & Washtenaw campus for the sake of global peace and
harmony!
The festival will be held in May & June during the weekends featuring
several concerts by top notch musicians, lecture demonstrations, fusion
music, dance-drama and music concerts. Over 1000 people are estimated to
participate in this fine arts extravaganza which includes food,
entertainment and networking.

We have secured special group rates for out-of-town attendees of the
Sarovar festival at Auburn Hills Hotels & Suites, 2200 Featherstone Road,
Auburn Hills, MI. The hotel is just 2 miles away from the auditorium. Please

The Great Lakes Aradhana Committee or GLAC is
a premier non-profit organization committed to preserving, presenting and
promoting arts in the Great Lakes region.
Our mission is to promote classical arts in
our community for the cause of enrichment, participation and fellowship for art
aficionados in Michigan by bringing quality events on a regular basis with a
bias on membership satisfaction.
GLAC strives in perpetuating the unique
cultural heritage into the mainstream American diaspora with it's events well
attended by people of all ethnicities from the Great Lakes states of the USA and
Canada.
GLAC provides opportunities for artists
without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex or
disability. GLAC provides equal opportunity on all programs, activities and

GLAC is proud to be supported by the Michigan
Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the Detroit Recreational Department.

Our History
GLAC was originally founded in 1985 and is the
oldest and largest Indo-American art organizations in Michigan. It was formally
incorporated in 2006 as an art resource in SE Michigan by a group of people who
truly appreciate, enjoy and want to promote one of the greatest cultural
traditions which has been passed down over the generations.
Today, GLAC is a Registered Tax-Exempt 501©(3)
